The Times of India story explores the capabilities of OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra and the shift from AI systems that simply answer questions to models that can plan, reason, use tools and carry out complex tasks from beginning to end.
In his conversation with The Times of India, Jayaprakash Nair- Global Head, Data & AI Lab and Capability Centre at Altimetrik, shared insights from early testing of GPT-6 Astra on financial services documents. He explained that the model went beyond summarising content; it distinguished assumptions from facts, identified claims that lacked supporting evidence and translated those gaps into specific qualifications in the resulting draft.
Jayaprakash described this as a significant improvement and an important step towards making AI more effective for complex enterprise use cases.
