JD for Sr. ETL QE Engineer: Very good understanding of ETL process and ETL QA process Good in Data warehousing concepts Good understanding of Agile methodology Good in design and implementation of Data testing end to end automation Excellent in writing complex SQL queries Good to have working knowledge in AWS Cloud Good exposure to Bigdata/ Hive, Pyspark, Databricks notebook Good knowledge in two of the databases DB2,MySQL, Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL &PL SQL Working with any of the ETL tools like Informatica/SSIS/Datastage Working knowledge with UNIX Working knowledge with Python and Python Pandas Working knowledge on Data Migration/Technology Migration projectLong Description-Mysql + Oracle + Hive + ETL + Data Bricks + PLSQL + PySpark

Position Details

  • Engineer - Quality Engineering in the Pharmaceuticals domain, seeking a candidate with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science\/ Data Science, expertise in ETL frameworks, SQL, Agile methodologies, Python, PL\/SQL, Informatica, AWS Cloud services, Hive, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Certification in ETL Testing and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate preferred.
  • Responsibilities involve leading quality engineering processes, automation strategies, data testing, collaboration with teams for data warehousing solutions, and staying updated on industry trends for continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of quality engineering processes for ETL frameworks and data migration projects.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end automation strategies for data testing and validation.
  • Utilize expertise in Python, SQL, PL\/SQL, and Informatica to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data warehousing solutions and optimize data migration processes.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing practices and ensure project delivery timelines.
  • Leverage AWS Cloud services, Databricks, and Snowflake for data management and analytics.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and API testing to maintain high standards.
  • Mentor junior quality engineering team members and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in data engineering and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Info

  • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering or Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Data Science and Engineering
  • 6-10 years of experience in ETL frameworks, data warehousing, SQL, Agile methodologies, data migration, and implementation
  • Proficiency in Python, PL\/SQL, Informatica, AWS Cloud services, and tools like Hive, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes, Agile methodologies, data testing automation, and complex SQL queries
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, Big Data technologies, Hive, Pyspark, Databricks, and various databases like DB2, MySQL, Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, and MS SQL
  • Familiarity with PL\/SQL, Informatica, SSIS, Datastage, UNIX, Python, Python Pandas for data manipulation
  • Certification in ETL Testing and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate would be an advantage
  • Expertise in Data Migration and Technology Migration
  • Prioritization of skills in ETL QA process, technology migration, and data warehousing concepts
